Microsoft: New Windows 7 Operating System Release Dates

Microsoft has announced release dates for Windows 7 depending on which group you are in, beginning with August 6th for the initial release for Partners and OEMs and ending with the final release date for the Operating System to be available in retail stores and shipping on new PCs starting October 22nd, and any pre-orders to be delivered around the timeframe of the October date, depending on the retailer.
