Okay, so the current data is showing that Apple has been losing younger iPhone users and attracting older users. What does that mean? Amazon Unlimited Music Storage for Paid Cloud Drive Accounts
Published July 22, 2011 | Earlier this month, Amazon announced the addition of unlimited music storage for paid users of its Cloud Drive online storage, and in doing so let both Google and Apple know the level of seriousness Amazon has to compete “in the cloud.”
Amazon had previously presented the offer of free cloud storage of any music purchased from its Amazon MP3 service; in addition 5GB of free storage is included for other music and files. It looks like now anyone among the world of music lovers with at least a 20GB storage plan for $20 a year (that’s right, $20 a year) can upload as much MP3 or AAC music as they want to the Cloud Drive service. We have also noticed that it also appears to work with the free one-year 20GB account that Amazon has previously given away to those who purchase an album from Amazon MP3.
The really good news is that once the music is uploaded, you can stream your music to a Mac, PC, or an Android phone using Amazon’s “Cloud Player” software.
