Have you heard of the NFL’s Tebowmania? That was so 2011, right? It’s time for a new cult-hero phenomenon: Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin and the NBA’s Linmania!
He’s holds an Ivy League degree with Honors from Harvard in Economics.
He began his professional career as an underdog going undrafted into the pros upon graduation when Lin joined the Dallas Mavericks and was released, signing with the Golden State Warriors in California, but was cut. But, three days later he was picked up by the Houston Rockets who then released him, and finally the New York Knicks signed him on Dec. 27 of last year.
His last name is perfect for gathering nicknames. Fans the world over have come up with several new terms inspired by his surname including Linsanity, Lincredible, Linsational, Linvincible, Super Lintendo and Linspiration.

We have the greatest respect for the daredevils that are able to take the step with no problem, although everyone must share that extreme anxiousness from the anticipation and build up to the jump. The bottom line is we are really glad there are DAREDEVILS out there that can take us on the ride with them, or jump and swing with them via amazing technology that gets better every day. Viral Videos! OK Go – Needing / Getting – Official Video!

We have always looked forward to the next amazingly creative video from the group OK Go, and the new music video doesn’t disappoint. Made in partnership with Chevrolet, OK Go set up over 1,000 instruments over two miles at a desert location outside Los Angeles, California. It already has a Wow Factor to it, right? Now a Chevy Sonic (we had to ask the same thing… a car named after a hedgehog?) was equipped with pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, that were also retractable, and then the band singing as they played the instrument array with the car, actually recorded this version of Needing/Getting (a pause to think about, how’d they do that?). Okay so they had time… lots of time… the video took 4 months of preparation to be exact, and another 4 days of shooting and recording (now that’s work we can appreciate!).
What’s even cooler is that there are no ringers or stand-ins, and Damian actually took a series of stunt driving lessons to be able to do the driving. Talk about getting it right down to the last detail, each piano was tuned to the lowest octaves to the same note so that they’d be able to play the correct note regardless of where they were struck. This video has been viewed over 11 million times in 5 days… now that’s viral!
