Coaching: In close examination of what we should be doing beyond giving specific, timely, on-target feedback, we should also be coaching the people we are fortunate and privileged to manage and lead. Successful coaching moves people to look at situations and circumstances in fresh ways. Coaching stimulates them to expand their way of thinking and assessment, and to discover and chase valuable goals. It’s an additional encouraging approach to strengthen relationships with the people who have accepted the opportunity to work for us.
