Awesome Stop Motion Video! Guy Walks Across America!

Team Altman Awesome Stop Motion Video!

Viewing this amazing video of a guy named Mike walking across America, brings questions to mind including how long did it actually take, how many pairs of shoes were used during the walking adventure, and what inspired you to just keep walking, and many other questions including was it real?

If you haven’t figured it out by now, the man isn’t REALLY walking the entire way, since Forest Gump already claimed that first. So what the crew did, which consisted of director, producer, photographer, and actor was travel in an RV for approximately two weeks, and every so often, they’d hop out and capture some footage.
In the video, the camera follows the actor Michael Johnson as he passes through different American landmarks you can recognize including Washington, D.C., Chicago, Mt. Rushmore, and Las Vegas. The crew really focused on little filming details including that the camera had to always remain the same distance from Mike in order to give the video its really cool seamless feel (watch the crew discuss the creative process on this video from ABC).
Even though the video was uploaded to the Web just a few days ago, it has already generated over 1 million views, and when you view it, it’s not difficult to understand why, as the video is extremely well done, the result of a lot of hard work and more importantly, careful planning by the crew (look at some behind the scene footage here).
If you’re like us, you might also want to know the captivating music piece that plays during the video is called “Home,” by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.

Awesome Improv Everywhere Video! Who You Gonna Call?

Team Altman Awesome Improv Video!

Anytime we view a new video created by Improv Everywhere, we know we’re all in for a creative treat and “Who You Gonna Call?” is no exception. For their latest mission, Improv Everywhere brought the movie Ghostbusters to life in the reading room of The New York Public Library at 42 Street, as the 1984 movie begins with a scene in the very same room, so they figured it was time for the Ghostbusters to make an encore appearance…..and you’ll just have to watch to see the resulting fun!

As always, enjoy and share the Improv Everywhere!
