Great Web Entrepreneurs – Finding Your Inner Entrepreneur

The owner’s instruction manual for living the life of a human being is at very best conflicted and confusing to most. And no one really feels this anxiety and stress more than entrepreneurs. They are often unable to sleep at night, with stark visions of bankruptcy and failing in a dramatically public way repeatedly playing in their minds.

The high-level of commitment that investors put in them is an extremely-heavy weight most people will never have the chance to experience. Entrepreneurs move their business endeavors forward into the uncharted global markets, butterflies churning in the stomach, wondering for the sake of their integrity and reputation, their security, their family, and even their hard-earned reputation in the eyes of their family. Somewhere in the back of the entrepreneur’s mind is the nagging thought that they might have been smarter to have stuck with what they knew they had.

Here’s an important note to entrepreneurs: If you’re visited by visions of misfortune on a regular basis, and are often overwhelmed with the strong desire to quit once and for all. And make your way to a safer, and calmer refuge, you should understand that this just verifies you’re an entrepreneur. The situation is quite normal, as you’re just feeling the exact same emotions every entrepreneur in history who went before you has likely experienced at one time or another.

But maybe the entrepreneur is not the one who’s actually in danger in the long run. Successful entrepreneurs come to understand that security is mostly a superstitious state of mind. The concept doesn’t exist in the natural order of things, nor do the majority of men as a whole experience it. The very simple reality is that life to the truly successful entrepreneur is either a daring adventure, or absolutely nothing.

Traditionally we’ve linked the daring enterprise of entrepreneurship with the for-profit sector, the global markets, and capitalism. Even our notions about social entrepreneurship can fall into that flawed way of thinking. But in fact, someone that works in the for-profit segment has nothing to do with being entrepreneurial. Rather, the entrepreneurial spirit is a phenomenon unto itself. “Entrepreneur” is a simple, yet complicated mind-set to maintain throughout. In other words, “simplicity is the greatest complexity.”

This is crucial for entrepreneurs to clearly understand, for fear that you forget to continue pursuit of a dream and measure things through the prism of possibility. People change as companies grow, and reach the point that in more times than not, pursue job security and measure everything through the prism of liability.

The good news is that life is still full of “great surprises.” It’s why a little motorcycle-company like Honda placed a bet on tiny cars and in doing so toppled General Motors, which was unknowingly placing a massively risky bet on position. It’s why Virgin could shake up both the airline industry and the retail music business, and why Apple could then change the retail music industry.

twittercracked 2-215x49As recent as yesterday it has been made evident that Twitter still has some significant Security issues that haven’t been resolved to date, and everyone should be made aware of the possibility of security breaches with your account(s) if you make use of the Twitter application directly. So until these issues are addressed and satisfactorily resolved you should be sure to unfollow people you don’t trust, or use a 3rd party application, such as TweetDeck or Tweetlater for your Twitter needs, at least until the Security issues are resolved.

Entrepreneurs: Lessons to Learn from Great Twitter Hack Attack

We wrote previously that “Entrepreneurs and business owners should always maintain a constant vigilant guard against someone obtaining confidential personal and secret information either through use of online technology and fraudulent system access by individual hackers, or covert espionage operations for either corporate or government infiltration of offices and systems.”

As both Entrepreneurs and individuals, one of the best ways of maintaining your constant vigilance in the ongoing battle of fraudulent activity involving your vital personal or business information and systems access, is to review and learn from the experience of others and make the necessary adjustments to your own security measures on a regular basis.

Remember, that many times the simplest of measures like creating passwords that have no reasoned connections to your personal history information, using a different password for each service you use, and once again, don’t relate answers to recovery questions to personal information that can be easily determined, or better yet, create false answers that only you know and can remember.

Most importantly, when it comes to your data security, being PARANOID is a good thing.
