The same day Facebook both celebrated its 6th birthday and reaching the 400 million user mark, a meeting took place with engineering students and select members of the press to chat with Facebook’s team, including Mark Zuckerberg, COO Sheryl Sandberg and Product Manager Peter Deng.

e press, Mr. Deng took the time to explain the new Facebook redesign and all of its new features in-depth. Ben Parr representing Mashable was there filmed the entire conversation and demo. While Mr. Deng didn’t reveal many new details, he provided a very useful overview that made Facebook design and its plan much easier to understand, so check it out.
Facebook: 175 Million People Log into Facebook Every Day!
Published February 2, 2010 | It was just one year ago that Facebook had 150 million registered users, and more than 200 million visited Facebook every month, a figure that represented approximately 20% (1 in 5) of the people in the world that are on the Internet.
Amazingly, this year Facebook has more than doubled in size to 350 million registered users with no signs of slowing down, and many agree that in the next couple of months well over half of all Internet users will likely visit Facebook during each month.
What’s even more important with greater impact, half of all Facebook’s registered users log in each and every day, which means that not including Facebook Connect logins, 175 million people visit Facebook’s website daily, and the increases users and visits show no sign of slowing.
