Our attention was drawn to this video recently because it was shot so easily in a short amount of time (of course special effects takes a lot longer), and the special effects are pretty good for DIY from start to finish, and let’s face it, everyone loves either Star Wars or Star Trek, or both just as equal, so you be the judge, and which do you like better?

We can appreciate the talent that 14-year-old Maikel van den Boomen has to play the marimba the way he does, in addition to the editing that goes into making the video. He’s from Someren Heide in Holland, and has his own YouTube channel.
